Mathcure was founded in 2004 by teacher, tutor and actuarial consultant, Craig Sidley, after he realized that even his most advanced students were held back by weaknesses in their foundational math skills that had never been addressed.
Mina Wood, M.A.T., director of Mathcure.com, holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters of Arts for Teachers in Mathematics from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She has taught Mathematics at both the high school and college level and has over 15 years experience working as an educational consultant, teacher and private tutor. Her passion for fostering young minds in Mathematics has brought her to join forces with Mathcure to bring students and educators the most comprehensive and innovative methods of math education. |
